Record Entry for 2009 Australian Championships

WA Branch have announced a record entry of over 160 for the forthcoming Australian Wushu and Kung Fu Championships being held in Perth next weekend.
Dennis Watts Chairman of the CEC (Competition and Events Committee)
commented: "the tremendous advances in competitions within the AKWF since the establishment of the CEC are a credit to all involved, the recent visit by senior IWUF Officials, the San Shao judges course providing us up to 80 judges, the announcement of the Victorian event in August and the NSW event in November and now what can only be described as an outstanding result for the WA Branch in the staging of the 2009 Event all augers well for the future as we move towards the staging of a World Championship Event".
