Welcome to KUNG FU WUSHU NEW SOUTH WALES Inc.

Originally formed in 1977 as the NSW Kung Fu Association, the Association amalgamated with other State Kung Fu Associations to form the Australian Kung Fu Federation (The recognised governing body for Kung Fu/Wu Shu in Australia) in 1984.

The NSW Branch is the oldest Kung Fu organization in Australia.

Over the past 20 years NSW has hosted many State and regional Championships as well as six Australian Championships and a South Pacific Championship.

NSW Participation in Official National and International Championships
NSW has had a long association with Championships participation. We have fielded both athletes and officials for every one of the IWUF International Wushu Championships since their inception.

In October 2010 the NSW Branch will host the first Australasian Kung Fu Wushu Championships and the elimination trials for 2011 World Kung Fu Wushu Championship Australian Team Selection.

National Coaching Accreditation Courses in NSW
NSW has a strong history of turning out many fully accredited Kung Fu/Wushu Instructors through our NCAS program. If you have any queries regarding the courses, renewals etc. please check our website or email admin@akwf.com
